Spy shots are published of the next MINI!

A spy photographer has snapped the next MINI, which was not due to be revealed until the Los Angeles motor show in November.
The new MINI, caught in the lens without the usual disguises, appears to be longer and wider than the current model, with a slightly protruding nose. This last change is thought to be due to new EU pedestrian safety legislation. The photo also hints at more passenger and luggage space, both familiar criticisms with the existing MINI.
The photo shows the Cooper S variant which retains its distinctive bonnet air scoop. New engines will be offered on some models and the Hatchback will be available with five doors for the first time.
